My son-in-law has my old 1986 Honda VFR700FII and it has 125K miles on the clock. The engine runs great but it has had its share of electrical issues.

The N52 engine is a newer design, but it's derived from BMWs line of in line 6 cylinders so one could expect similar longevity. 2006 Z4 3.0si Sport Package (But I'll still hang with my "homies" in the E36 forum) Save.

Thanks! Any car can last more than 200K with the proper maintenance. I have seen a lot of BMW with close to 300K and some with over 400K, granted those were E30 with M20B27 engines, which for the most part were bullet proof. Proper maintenance and minor abuse is key. Appreciate 1.
